The Lord through prophet Nathan spoke these words to king David who wanted to build the Lord a house.While David’s son Solomon built the Lord a temple, God was looking and speaking far ahead talking about Jesus who in His humanity is a descendant of David.It is Jesus who is building the true everlasting house for the Lord – Ephesians 2:21-22, a house or temple that will last forever. This house or temple is you and me the body of Christ – 1 Peter 2:5.God dwells in us believers, we are the house being built for His Name to carry and show His glory and power.
