Meditation is turning a thought, a matter, an idea over and over in your mind as you mutter or speak to yourself.When we apply this practice on the Word of God we get understanding as a result. Now understanding is finding out God’s thoughts, ideas, plans and purposes. It’s in His Word that God’s thoughts, ideas, plans, and purposes are hidden. Meditating on God’s Word, turning it over and over in our minds, speaking it to ourselves is how God’s thoughts, ideas, plans and purposes are opened to us.Get a Scripture, memorize it, and start pondering over it throughout the day quietly muttering it to yourself even as you go about your business. Keep on doing this and you will begin getting a new and fresh from God understanding of how to smartly, easily deal with and go about every aspect of life.
