Bridle your anger, trash your wrath, cool your pipes–it only makes things worse. Psalms 37:8 (MSG)
Anger leads only to evil, harm. We can and should control our anger. This is of utter most necessity and we should be intentional on it because anger uncontrolled is destructive. Ways to control your anger:Choose and control what you think about.Psalms 39:3 (NLT)The more I thought about it, the hotter I got, igniting a fire of words.Regardless of the offense done to you it’s what and how you think about it that will determine your response or reaction. Choose and control what you hear and speak.Proverbs 15:1 (NKJV) A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. We can’t choose or control what others say but we can choose and control what we hear and speak. We can even choose to keep out of our hearing any sharpness, offense, or harshness in what others say to us whether they intended it or not. We do this by deciding that other people’s opinions, emotional state and outbursts, words, and actions don’t define or drive us.
