Your mercy, O LORD, [is] in the heavens; Your faithfulness [reaches] to the clouds. Psalms 36:5 (NKJV)
Mercy is God’s characteristic attitude of always being moved and wanting to help us. It’s the same way parents especially mothers always feel about their children. The first part of our opening Scripture today says – “Your mercy, O Lord, [is] in the heavens” . This means the Lord’s Mercy is boundless because you can’t tell where the heavens begin and end – they’re boundless. Therefore, today’s devotion title can be paraphrased as:God’s characteristic attitude of always being moved and wanting to help us is boundless! Selah (pause and calmly think of that)!Today go about your business and confront every situation with this conviction that: God’s attitude is always being moved and wanting to help me.
